Recently shown
at a hobby show here in the U.S.A., these Japanese
train sets have caused
a bit of a buzz, along with the American P42 Superliner starter
set. We’re happy to announce that we will be able to
bring a quantity of these train sets featuring three distinctive
and elegant Japanese Bullet Trains:
The E2-1000 Shinkansen “Hayate”,
The series 500 Shinkansen “Nozomi”,
and
The
series 700 Shinkansen “Nozomi” with the “Ambitious
Japan!” logo.
Each of these starter sets will also
be equipped with the North American style power pack, meaning
they will be fully compatible with North American electrical
outlets. These make a great shelf-companion with our own Amtrak
P42 Superliner N Scale starter set.
Features:
- Complete Unitrack oval layout with feeder track and North
American style power pack
- Japanese Bullet train 4 car set with powered unit and
exquisite detailing. The E2-1000 has a prototypical front
coupler that is actually recessed within functional moving
hatches.
- Each pilot car has operating, directional headlights.
- All
cars can be lighted with the optional 11-209 or 11-210
interior lighting kit with LED.

Stock Checks:
Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the
hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure
we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each
year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order
in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm
that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order
it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on
the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also
we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual
orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms
pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items
are available and if possible attempt to locate what we
don’t have while you are on the phone. |
