Note:
Not all of the items below may be in stock or available but
the information is provided for reference purposes. |
Please place your order using our SECURE Shopping Cart site:
http://wig-wag-trains-cart.com/home
If you MUST send an e-mail inquiry, copy & paste the entire description TEXT ONLY (NO pictures!) from the
item you are ordering into your e-mail.
It will save time and reduce confusion in determining
what you
are inquiring about.
With the quantity of lines we carry it's not possible to memorize all of them. |
Be
sure you review our terms pages before placing your order:
First: Terms
Page One Finally: Terms Page Three
If you place an order, you have agreed to our terms. |
Please
remember to give your first and last name and the city and
state where you live in all
your e-mails.
Non-USA
customers please include the country. |
Please
Note:
First: Some Micro-Trains releases
can be limited and run out at M-TL in the first 1-2 days of
the month.
Second:
Occasionally M-TL allocates orders and even when we order
additional quantities beyond our Auto-Ship quantities on the
first day of
orders at 7:00am we do not receive all we ordered.
If this happens this month, we may be forced to allocate to
our reservations based on timing of
the Pre-Order. If the customer
requests multiple copies of an item they may be limited.
Third: Beginning with the June
2008 releases Micro-Trains© Line delivers auto-ship quantities
"simultaneously" across the United States.
Our shipment should arrive on the second or third business
day of the month. This means that our window for reservations
is now shorter.
Once they arrive here, stock pricing
applies. Please try to place your reservations
by close of business on the first business day of the month.
For
most of our customers this will not be an issue.
Fourth: As always, if you have Pre-Orderd (via the Shopping Cart Site: wig-wag-trains-cart.com ) an entire run of a series we will pre-order enough of those items to always fill your order. Also customers who order complete monthly releases are assured of getting theirs as well. |

Conrail
Road #: 1858
F-7a Locomotive
Part #: MTL-980 01 270
|
![](../MTLPhotos/Headers/logo_new-release.jpg) |
|
Railfanning during the early days of Conrail saw a number of old locomotive models still slaving away in service. Though at one time the Penn Central and Erie Lackawanna rosted a large number of F7As, by the time Conrail was formed only a hodge-podge of units survived. Being old and worn out, most F7As found themselves retired and cut up quickly. The EMD F7 was a 1,500 horsepower (1,100 kW) Diesel-electric locomotive produced between February 1949 and December 1953 by the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors (EMD) and General Motors Diesel (GMD). A total of 2,366 cab-equipped A-units and 1,483 cabless booster or B-units were built. |

Item Description |
Pricing & Order Link |
Stock Checks:
Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the
hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure
we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each
year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order
in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm
that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order
it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on
the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also
we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual
orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms
pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items
are available and if possible attempt to locate what we
don’t have while you are on the phone. |
