Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the
hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure
we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each
year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order
in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm
that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order
it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on
the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also
we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual
orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms
pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items
are available and if possible attempt to locate what we

| June 03 - "On the Road Again!" We have been invited to take our N-Trak traveling layout to the Guadalupe County Fair in Santa Rosa, NM the first weekend of August 2013. We of course accepted and will be using a modified and hopefully imporved version of the layout that has been attracted visitors to Vaughn NM including the modules that won an award at WGH Chantilly several years ago. The layout should be operating Friday August 2nd thru Sunday August 4th. Here's an idea, Come to Santa Rosa see some UP & run-through trains and participate in a western county fair. Santa Rosa is on the main line of the Golden State Route and has one of the two new vehicle unloading facilities in NM. The area around there has great scenery for train photography. 60 Days and counting down. |

| June 03 - We will be closed for July 4th starting June 30th thru July 4th. Please have a safe and sober holiday. Here in NM the drought is getting pretty intense so everyone is being encouraged to refrain from fireworks. Back in NY where George was born he had to go across the Peace Bridge to Canada to buy fireworks. It was a great adventure for he and Bruce Epke to do it. Here they seem to be everywhere and have lost the intrigue. Of course a lot of July 4ths have passed since he was 14. 26 days & counting. |

| June 03 - We will close early (3:00pm) on Saturday June 15 to travel 785 miles to the USC Keck Medical Center where George will again consult with Dr. Wrobel - one of only two Drs. in the USA that can perform the surgery that has been recommended by Dr. Maghami at City of Hope. His appointment is fairly early on the 17th. If everything goes according to the proposed schedule we should be back in time to open on 06/18. If not we believe we will be back for sure so we can open like normal on the 19th. |

There will also be two new circus wagon load sets. This time to go along with the P.T. Barnum circus train coming this summer and two flat cars to put them on that utilize CWE flat cars to match those coming in the P.T. Barnum train. | April 4 - Wheels of Time has announced the second release of their PC&F 50' Insulated, Loader-Equipped Box Cars to be delivered in the fall of 2013. For the Modelers that would question how they can announce this with a straight face when the first release has not arrived yet, please note that Atlas also announces second releases before the first one has arrived. This release will include seven NEW paint schemes including one One of a Kind scheme. Modelers all over the USA can drool at will.
