Stock Checks:

Inventory is a fluid commodity.  It changes by the hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson. When we held items for customers’ orders, the order never materialized 80%+ of the time.  We lost out on the orders placed while the item was on hold.  Also we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items are available and if possible attempt to locate what we don’t have while you are on the phone.

February 03 -- Atlas has announced their catalog for the first quarter.  Mentioned in the catalog is the Atlas Coalveyor Bathtub Gondolas.  We do not know when orders will be due, and we do not yet have pricing on these items.  However, we will be taking orders for these items as of now! We will update you as we find out more information on the release of these coalveyors.

February 03 -- Trainworx has announced a new run of their all steel general service drop bottom gondolas.  This release is coming in 4 different road names.  This run is expected to arrive in August 2011.  Place place your orders by March 29th!!

January 28 -- Kato has announced a new release of their EMD SD70ACe for delivery in June.  This release will include the stunning an popular Kansas City Southern "Southern Belle" Scheme, along with new road numbers for BNSF, CSXT and Union Pacific.  Also coming is a re-release of the UP Heritage unit in memory of the D&RGW!  Pre-Orders close for these units on February 21st!

January 28 -- Fox Valley has announced the totally new to N-Scale RTR B&O Wagontop Boxcar.  Previously only available in N-Scale as a resin kit, Fox Valley continues to produce models of unique and ubiquitous prototypes.  This first release will be delivered in June & July 2011!
