Inventory is a fluid commodity. It changes by the
hour (sometimes by the minute). To retain our pricing structure
we maintain stock levels designed to turnover 6 times each
year. We cannot guarantee stock status till we have an order
in hand. All product is subject to prior sale. If we confirm
that we have it, and, while we are waiting for the order
it sells, you would be upset that we did not hold it.
We used to hold items but learned a VERY EXPENSIVE lesson.
When we held items for customers’ orders, the order
never materialized 80%+ of the time. We lost out on
the orders placed while the item was on hold. Also
we wasted staff time that could have been used to pull actual
orders.
Since we are well known for finding older stock the fact
that it may not be on our shelves at this minute does not
mean we can’t get it. So, as we spell out on our terms
pages, we don’t do it anymore. You may, however, call in and we will tell you if the items
are available and if possible attempt to locate what we
don’t have while you are on the phone. |

April 27 -- Coming this Fall from Micro-Trains® Line are a new Civil War era 26' box car, a 26' nine-stake flat car and a converted box car/ caboose. They will feature the usual fine mold detail, state-of-the-art decorating, as well as an all-new truck to maintain historical accuracy. At this time we do not have any prices or part numbers. We will not be taking pre-orders for these items until we have more information. Be sure to stay tuned to when they will be coming out. April 27 -- Micro-Trains® Line has announced their N-Scale Pre-Order items for May. Another Runner Pack that should get a lot of attention. This SP/PFE FLatcar with trailer set is sure to draw a lot of attention and will go along well with the Flatcars and trailers that have been and are delivering from Trainworx, BLMA Athearn and Atlas and as the prototype did, you too can mix and match these trailers onto other flatcars and other trailer onto these flats. April 24 -- Ronald is Coming! Vollmer has shipped the classic McDonald's Restaurant with McCafe and we have got them in route to us. They are coming in a very limited group (less than 12 total) . We don't know if we will be able to get more once this group is gone. Please don't dream about it and  later. If you are modeling any medium sized U.S. or Canadian city you will need one of these. The first one built in Albuquerque was saved, restored and not replaced until finally sometime in the last 5 years. So they can be modeled on almost any layout from the early 60's till almost today.

April 23 -- We have updated the Fox Valley Models FMC 5347CuFt Boxcar page and linked it to the Shopping cart. There is a release that is still in Pre-Order status and on the Shopping Cart you will also find those items that are currently in stock here @ Wig-Wag. That does not meant that other cars are all sold out. We recently located complete sets of RD-4 hoppers for a customer when all the other dealers apparently and the distributors showed them as OOS (Out-of-Stock). SOOooo if you do not see them on the Shopping Cart Site but we have them listed here on the Historic Site and you are seriously looking let us know and when you place an order we'll be happy to pull out our  and go looking.

| April 22 -- At some time yesterday all the links to other pages disappeared from our news page below. We discovered it after taking more than 5 hours to clean up the HTML code from one BLMA page so we could post the new announcement for the new detail part. It was far too late in the day to work on that so we went home and got some ZZZzzz's. We are now working as quickly as possible to restore those links. We suspect that Gizmo or one of his more notorious relatives was up to no good when George took 10-15 minutes to discuss the old history of the Albuquerque RR Club with an old associate who dropped in to look at Digitrax. In any case we hope it hasn't been too much an inconvenience to you and we will restore the links fast as George can make that mouse run while recording orders that come in. |

| April 11 -- Fox Valley Models has announced the first four Norfolk Southern Heritage GEVOs in N-Scale! The NS Heritage program will use the GEVO to showcase 9 great paint schemes from roads that make up the current NS system. FVM is developing artwork for each scheme as they are released from the paint shop. The first four completed are Conrail, Southern (in Green), Nickel Plate and Central of Georgia. These great looking locomotives will come come with a new modification - a nose job! The new series of NS ES44AC's uses a 4 window cab with a headlight above the windshield and a notch in the nose where the headlights are normally placed. Fox Valley is tooling new molds to change these features. Place your pre-orders for them by May 2nd using our new Shopping Cart System! | April 10 -- ExactRail™ has announced one more TOTALLY NEW N-Scale release before they stop selling to dealers. They will be delivering the Thrall 2743CuFt Gondola in five paint schemes during "Early May" We must receive your order before noon MDT on Monday April 16th in order to receive our best price. At this time it appears that we may have to pay for these during April but they will not ship until some time later. April 03 -- Fox Valley Models has announced a new run of their Stunning Hiawatha items, We'll let them tell it: "Hiawatha Cars and Locomotives. This time around they will be available as separate items. Customers can get just one piece, or build a whole second train to compliment the original run. There are 5 new Coach numbers, the Parlor will have the name "Ishkoodah" and the Observation will be "Nokomis" - all are different from the original set. Two locos will be offered as well. Locomotive #2 will be in the original scheme with Maroon numbers under the cab. Locomotive #3 will have Gold Numbers and feature the large Indian logo on the tender."
